Box ID is a six-digit alpha-numeric code visible at the back of Freedocast Pro Device as shown below. This is required to pair the Freedocast Pro Device to your Freedocast account.
Pairing ID is a 4 digit code provided when Freedocast Pro Device is added to your Freedocast account.
Anyone with your pairing ID can connect to your Device. Share it discreetly.
Note : Pairing ID will be used while connecting App to Device
The device takes approximately 1 minute to boot. When the device is booting up network LED color will be red blinking. After the device has booted network LED color would be red (if Device is not connected to internet) or green (if Device is already connected to any internet)
(a) Wi-Fi After selecting wi-fi as the type of connection you will have to enter the Wi-Fi password (You can use the gear icon to switch between Wi-Fi connections)
(b) Ethernet After selecting ethernet as the type of connection your Device will act like a hotspot and you need to connect to the hotspot

You can stop streaming from Freedocast Pro App by tapping the 'Stop Live' button.
Log in to your Freedocast account on web and go to device management page. Select 'Unregister Device'. Click on 'Unregister'. The device is now Unregistered from your account. You will now be able to add the device to any other account.

IP IN allows you to capture Video feed through URL.
A captive portal is a Web page that the user of a public-access network must view and login before access is granted. Captive portals are typically used by business centers, educational institutes, airports, hotel lobbies, coffee shops, and other venues that offer free Wi-Fi hot spots for Internet users.
Unregister Freedocast device with your account by following steps at How do I Unregister a device?. Now add the device to new Freedocast account by following steps at How to add Freedocast Pro Device to Freedocast account and get Pairing ID?
Firmware update:
When firmware update is available the update is shown in Freedocast Pro App when the App is connected to the Device. After the firmware update is downloaded and installed the device
is rebooted. If you are unable to connect to the Device through Freedocast Pro App after the update is installed, you may need to reboot the Device manually again.
Application software update:
When application software update is available the update is shown in Freedocast Pro App when the App is connected to the Device. When the application software is downloaded
and updated the Device reboots. You may have the option to skip the update or update later. However, we strongly recommend to update for better broadcasting experience and take advantage of the enhancements. If you
are unable to connect to the Device through Freedocast Pro App after the update is installed, you may need to reboot the Device manually again.
Freedocast Broadcasting Platform
Register/Log in to your Freedocast account by visiting www.freedocast.com and go to events page. Click on & enter the Title, Description, start time & End time to create event
Please upgrade to either Basic, Premium or Enterprise plans to create events
Freedocast users can broadcast simultaneously to other destinations using Freedocast platform. (PS: Multiple platforms settings on Freedocast.com work only with External Encoder. Broadcasting to multiple platforms through Freedocast Pro Device can be done only through Freedocast Pro App)

To broadcast live videos to your website Freedocast Premium Plan has to be subscribed. After starting the event live go to Events page and select the videos button in the Event. Click on three dots of the video to get Share option. Select Embed URL. Copy the Embed URL and add to your website.
Your Live video might have violated Facebook policies. Repeated violation may restrict your Facebook account for further Live broadcasting also.

Log in to your Freedocast account on web & go to events page. Click on edit event for the event you want to make changes. You will be shown options to edit Title, description, Event start & end time of the event. You can delete the event if it's no longer required by clicking on edit event
Multi Bitrate Streaming helps to improve viewer's experience by enabling you to deliver videos with the resolution and bit rate that best matches the viewer's connection speed.
When you start the broadcast the stream comes to your channel few seconds later, depending on your internet connection and the device you are using. Note that a HD Stream requires a longer time for buffering.

Most IP cameras use RTSP protocol, which is different from the RTMP protocol which is used to connect to Freedocast platform. To stream from an IP camera to Freedocast, you will need an intermediate step, which converts
the RTSP feed to an RTMP feed and then pushes that to Freedocast platform.

Live broadcasting requires reliable internet network connection which is consistent for the whole broadcast time. Wired Connection is best recommended. Other connections can be Wi-Fi, 4G LTE,3G. Minimum of 1 Mbps internet uplink speed is required for consistent broadcasting.

Please check with Facebook or Google+ or Twitter if their login services are working.
Yes, you can broadcast your live video to your website by adding the embed code of the video. To broadcast live videos to your website Freedocast Premium Plan has to be subscribed. starting the event live, go to Events

Currently there is no time limit for the duration of live broadcasting. However, catchup will be formed only for only 18hrs.
